Established in 1883, The Valley has enjoyed a rich and vibrant history of horse racing.
It is considered by many to be Melbourne’s most appealing spectator course and is the proud holder of one of the world’s most exciting race days – the Cox Plate, won by Phar Lap, Kingston Town and Winx alike.
Visiting The Valley is a multifaceted experience – whether you’re there for the racing, enjoying an after-work drink, having a meal in one of the fabulous restaurants or taking part in one of the many events hosted all year round. It’s an offer which is truly diverse, and so much more than just racing, which became the primary challenge in developing a revitalised brandmark.
We developed the ‘Let’s Celebrate’ brandmark to highlight the multitude of experiences that are available to visitors when arriving at The Valley. As a concept, the idea of celebration is something which is inherent across aspects of The Valley. It inspires a dynamic brand language that will flourish and grow with the business as they continue to expand their offer in becoming a “must go” choice for entertainment year round.
